Melody Li

A virtuoso pianist and dedicated educator, Melody's musical journey began at age 4. Her exceptional talent emerged early as she won piano competitions throughout northeastern China during her formative years.

Her artistic excellence has been recognized on the domestic stage and internationally. She has won 1st place in numerous competitions, including TOYAMA Asian Youth Competition and the Sylvia m. Ghiglieri International Competition. As the First Place winner from China, she received the invitation to compete in the final round in the United States, where she achieved an impressive 5th place ranking internationally.

Inspired by these experiences, Melody pursued her musical education in the United States, earning her Bachelor's degree from the renowned UC Berkeley, followed by a Master of Music in Piano Performance in San Francisco studying under the renowned Dr. Victoria Neve.

Her teaching philosophy was profoundly shaped by her initial role as a music instructor for children with special needs. This experience cultivated her patient, empathetic approach to teaching while deepening her passion for music education. With over a decade of teaching expertise, Melody has guided numerous students to success in national and international competitions, with many earning the distinguished honor of performing at Carnegie Hall.

Today, her piano studio welcomes students of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to advanced adult performers, each receiving personalized instruction that balances technical excellence with creative expression.
